Beneath the Mask is a student-led magazine that publishes multi-media art that reveals one true, unfiltered self. The Beneath the Mask staff found that there is a bigger silent buffer between our mask and what lies beneath. We aim to make publications more accessible to writers and artists by creating a landing platform for their unrestricted creativity and for works that go beyond conventional interpretations.

About Us
Everyone in the room has an invisible mask, filtered to only represent the good and acceptable. But underneath the mask reveals a whole new person, new identity, and new perspective.

Hence, we created a platform featuring multimedia art that encourages artists to showcase what is beneath their masks.

Submissions
Our deadline for Issue Six is FEBRUARY 28TH! Make sure to send in your pieces by then!
​
You can expect a response in 2-4 weeks for all pieces sent. If requested, we will give feedback on your piece.
​
Who can submit?
We are specifically looking for diverse voices and quirkiness. In other words, just be yourself! Anyone aged 14-23 are encouraged to submit.
However, those outside the age range can submit as well. We want our magazine to represent a multitude of perspectives and experiences!
